BECOME A POLLWORKER OR
VOTING SYSTEM TECHNICIAN (VST)
On election days in our county over 10,000 workers are on hand to assist our citizens with
voting. They staff more than 800 precinct polling places.
Each worker is a part of the important process by which we Americans select our leaders
and have a voice in government.
Would you like to be one of these helpful people? It takes dedication and efficiency,
patience and friendliness are also assets. If this describes you,
please contact the Supervisor of Elections office at 954-459-9911. Pollworkers and VSTs
are paid for their services according to the positions they hold.
